There are a couple of symptoms which accompany the freezing and lagging problem, some of which include the console freezing (and eventually shutting down) during gameplay or normal use, the console freezing during an installation, the game lagging when playing online games and freezing associated with specific games or discs. I wanted to check the new things in the precursor base in the lost river biome. once updated, even at max graphics the mushroom forest and areas near aurora stopped being laggy, it was running smooth, I went to inactive lava zone there and back to base.
Whilst it was froze I noticed Subnautica had a new update. I was heading to the inactive lava zone to drill myself some Kyanite and as I was heading to mushroom forest I saved the game incase. Biggest issue was the mushroom forest near aurora. Many times the game froze for 30 seconds and then began responding after it loaded in all the terrain. I had many crash issues when I went near aurora and putting graphics to minimum reduced the chances but there was still lag. Lot of time went to this account basically.
I can go to 1500m in my PRAWN and Cyclops. I literally got to the point and have scanned all tech and build all tech. I have played subnautica on max graphics and usually there are no issues.
